The process

Four steps. Nothing leaves your normal workflow.

We deliberately designed our process so that, from your accounting and logistics perspective, BuenTrade is simply another domestic customer.

  1. 01

    You send us a quote

Share your price list, MOQs and lead times. We review your catalog and identify the SKUs with real demand in the Ecuadorian market.

  2. 02

    We issue a purchase order

A formal PO from BuenTrade LLC under your standard terms — including your credit application process if you require one.

  3. 03

    You get paid in USD

Payment by wire transfer or ACH from a U.S. bank account. No letters of credit, no foreign exchange, no international collection risk.

  4. 04

    You ship domestically

Deliver to our receiving facility in Miami, Florida, or arrange carrier pickup. From that moment forward, export, freight, customs and distribution in Ecuador are entirely our responsibility.

Clear scope

A precise line between your responsibility and ours.

Most suppliers hesitate about international orders because the obligations are unclear. Here is exactly where yours end.

Your side

What you handle

  • Quote your products under your standard commercial terms
  • Invoice BuenTrade LLC as a domestic U.S. customer
  • Prepare the order and deliver to our Miami, FL facility
  • Provide product documentation, specifications and packing list
Our side

What BuenTrade takes on

  • Acting as exporter of record, with the export declaration filed by our forwarder
  • Contracting and paying for consolidation, international freight and cargo insurance
  • Tariff classification, duties and clearance, through a licensed Ecuadorian customs broker
  • Local regulatory requirements, labeling and product registration
  • Placing the product with buyers in Ecuador and handling the commercial relationship

A note on how this works in practice: like most importers, we do not operate our own vessels or hold a customs licence. We coordinate these steps through licensed freight forwarders and a customs broker in Ecuador. What matters commercially is that the cost, the paperwork and the liability are ours from the moment the goods leave your dock — you deal with one counterparty, and that counterparty is a U.S. company.

BuenTrade is reviewing U.S. manufacturers, master distributors and authorized wholesalers for recurring purchase programs in the lines below. The company

A registered U.S. counterpart, not an intermediary.

BuenTrade LLC exists precisely so that U.S. manufacturers and distributors can reach the Ecuadorian market without taking on export risk. We are the buyer of record: the contract, the payment and the liability sit with a company incorporated and operating under U.S. law.

Every order is handled by a single point of contact who speaks your language, works in your time zone, and understands both sides of the transaction — the U.S. commercial standard and the Ecuadorian regulatory reality.

You will not be routed through a department or a ticket number. Every purchase order we issue is signed by me, and every question about payment, delivery or documentation comes back to the same person. That is the whole point of working with a company this size.

Common questions

What suppliers usually ask us first.

No. The sale is domestic: you invoice BuenTrade LLC and deliver within the United States. We are the exporter of record, and the export declaration is filed by our freight forwarder under our name. Your only requirement is the commercial invoice and packing list you would issue for any U.S. customer.

In U.S. dollars, by wire transfer or ACH from a U.S. bank account. First orders are paid according to your standard prepayment or deposit policy — typically in full before shipment. We are glad to complete your credit application and provide banking and trade references so open terms can be evaluated later.

We are building for repeat orders, and we will be straightforward about how that starts. The first order is deliberately small — a trial run that lets us validate pricing, duty treatment and sell-through for your line in the Ecuadorian market. If it performs, we consolidate it into a regular reorder schedule. We would rather tell you that up front than promise container volume on day one.

That depends on the line, and we agree it with you before the first order rather than after. Depending on the category, product is placed through wholesale buyers, retail accounts, or direct B2B sales to industrial and contractor customers. If your brand carries channel rules — MAP pricing, authorized-reseller requirements, territory exclusivity, or restrictions on marketplace listings — raise them during the evaluation and we will put the agreed placement in writing as part of the supply terms.

Your responsibility ends on delivery at our Miami facility, exactly as with any domestic customer. From that point the goods are ours: we contract the international freight and the corresponding cargo insurance, and we assume any risk in transit or at customs.

No. Everything we purchase is exported and sold exclusively in the Ecuadorian market. We do not resell inside the United States and we do not interfere with your domestic channel. Where required, we are willing to formalize this in writing as part of the supply agreement.

Your current catalog or price list, minimum order quantities, lead times and packaging specifications. We reply with an assessment of which SKUs fit the Ecuadorian market and an initial order estimate, usually within two business days.
